Friends and Fellow Houstonians, I am building a campaign that will listen to you. This Website was built to get your input. It is my desire that this site will provide a place for two-way communication with voters about the issues that confront our city. I am attending meetings with civic clubs, in senior buildings, in community centers, in barber shops and beauty parlors, in airports and in coffee shops all across this city.Through this dialogue, economy and jobs, public safety, education, recycling, flooding and drainage are the primary concerns of Houston's citizens. I want you to share your hopes for improvement, and I want to be accountable to you. After all, "The People Are The City". SO I INVITE YOU, TO JOIN THE CAUSE.
I love this city and I live to represent everyone in our community: from the underserved communities to the corporate sector, I want to be the advocate for change. On November 8th, we have an important choice to make in this election. Our nation has come together to supplant the failed policies of the past in hopes of bringing a stronger future today for our children’s generation - and we must do the same for Houston. It’s time for change! We have already experienced a paradigm shift throughout the various levels of government, and in this election, I believe that the choice is clear. We need new leadership with fresh ideas for Houston. This is my vision:
A city that is safer and cleaner.
A city where business expansion thrives.
A city where small businesses serve the greater good of our community.
A city that you feel good about calling "home"
A city where schools rank amongst the greatest in the country
A city where a green economy promotes jobs of the future
A city that delivers a good reliable transportation system
This vision can be realized with a plan and a new city government that works with you and for you. I want to be a part of this change for Houston.
I understand that social or political change does not simply occur by winning an election, but rather when I put forth my best efforts in helping our citizens work collectively to accomplish our goals. You are invited to contribute to the success of my campaign and the betterment of our city by volunteering and making a financial contribution. So Houston let your voice be heard, VOTE on November 8th.
Best Regards,
